“Pathaan,” a film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, has made history in Bollywood by becoming the first-ever original Hindi language film (excluding Chinese dub) to enter the 1000 crore club. This action-packed extravaganza, directed by Siddharth Anand, had an earth-shattering start by grossing 100 crores on its opening day, making it the first Hindi film to do so. Within six days, the film crossed the 600 crore mark, and it took only 21 more days to achieve the 1000 crore milestone, making it one of the fastest Indian films to reach this achievement.
On the 27th day, “Pathaan” officially hit the 1000 crore mark worldwide, becoming the second Bollywood film to do so after Aamir Khan’s “Dangal,” which achieved this feat thanks to its unprecedented response in China. At present, “Pathaan” is ranked fifth among Indian films that have grossed over 1000 crores worldwide.
